When installing the Occulus software for linking a Meta Quest 2 or 3 to a PC, the softeare works only for the first user that installs it. When another user on that PC tries to set it up the program reports error “An unexpected error occured. Please try again. OVR88948175”.

The software is lacking registry keys. Adding those will allow to finish the setup successfully:

Create a file Occulus.reg with following content:

Double click on the file and allow it to integrate in the registry. Start the Occulus App and go through the setup.
